We are TeemU Finance - YOUR team in finance.

We are finance and mortgage brokers based in Sinnamon Park, Brisbane. We are qualified finance brokers, which means we can help you with home loans, personal loans, car loans, SMSF lending, business and commercial lending and asset finance. We have access to over 80 lenders, and are not tied to any one lender, meaning we can search the market to find the right deal, for YOU. Once you get to know us, and we get to know you, we can help you with all your financial needs.

Meet Our Founder

Paul Freer

Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
Previous qualifications: Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (equiv. Bachelor of Financial Services), Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Advanced Certificate in Marketing and Executive Leadership Programs at both Harvard and London Business Schools.

Paul is the person you can trust when it comes to all your financial needs. With over 35 years experience across all areas of banking and financial services, Paul has built a mortgage business within a leading Middle Eastern bank, led business banking, and helped businesses multiply their wealth. After a successful career in helping clients, managing businesses, and improving their financial performance, Paul had a vision to start his own company. One where he could use his extensive knowledge to pursue his real passion – helping everyday people save money. This led Paul into Finance & Mortgage Broking, a role where he could improve the lives of people by helping them get the right deal for them on their dream home, current home or next property. In early 2023, Paul realised his vision and launched TeemU Finance.

Paul has always had a passion for numbers and money. At age 16 he joined a training program with Barclays Bank in England, whilst simultaneously completing his tertiary financial studies at The University of West London. Like most people, Paul started out at the bottom – working as a junior officer and teller, he climbed the ranks of Barclays working his way up to Managing Director of a subsidiary bank. His career path then saw him become CEO, CFO, COO and CIO of various companies and banks including Lloyds Bank, National Commercial Bank, Alquity Group, Collection House and Abt Associates, whilst working across all corners of the globe including the UK, USA, Seychelles, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Asia and finally Australia.

Having enjoyed a global career, gained international experience, and worked in all sectors of the financial services industry, Paul provides advice you can trust. Having seen the behind-the-scenes workings of the big banks, and built some of them, Paul is now dedicated to helping the person on the other side – YOU – find the right loan structure and loan option for you.
